THE CONCERT PROGRAM
in Collaboration with the Colorado Symphony
The CONCERT (Collaborative Orchestral Network for Community Education, Resources, and Training) Program builds meaningful pathways between students and professional musicians.
As Colorado’s land-grant institution and its premiere professional orchestra, respectively, Colorado State University and the Colorado Symphony, share a commitment to serve our community through programming that fosters access, excellence, and the sustainability of symphonic music. The CONCERT Program strengthens Colorado’s artistic ecosystem by connecting education, professional practice, and community engagement throughout Colorado.
THE FIREBIRD SUITE (1919)

Cutting-edge projection design transforms Igor Stravinsky’s The Firebird Suite (1919) with a newly commissioned live animation by Christine Banna. The visuals layer found footage to create a striking, living counterpoint to the music's sonic intensity. Read more about our project here.

A MID - AUTUMN NIGHT'S ESCAPE
A D&D Adventure with Mendelssohn
This production shatters the fourth wall between audience and orchestra, re-framing Mendelssohn and Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream as a live-action Dungeons & Dragons adventure. This cross-disciplinary performance combines music, acting, dance, improvisation, and participation, with audiences guiding the story. Learn more about our show at Just Games Rochester.
